The Specialist Defence & Security Convention UK (SDSC-UK) is thrilled to reveal the official line-up of speakers and panel chairs for this year’s conference, set to take place on 20 November at SDSC-UK 2024. This year’s conference will be expertly compered by Major General (Retired) Robin Anderton-Brown, former Director of Capability, UK MOD Strategic Command, who has been an integral part of SDSC-UK since its inception in 2017. Maj Gen Anderton-Brown will be joined by an exceptional roster of panel chairs:

The 2024 conference will centre on the newly commissioned Strategic Defence Review (SDR) from the UK Government, a critical examination to outline the roles, capabilities, and reforms required to ensure that UK Defence is well-prepared to address twenty-first-century challenges within its available resources.
SDSC-UK 2024 will delve into three pivotal areas of focus:
- Accelerating digital capabilities in Defence to adapt and scale efficiently.
- Strengthening interoperability with allies through multi-national approaches.
- Addressing workforce needs in line with the Haythornthwaite Review of Armed Forces Incentivisation, emphasising recruitment and retention of specialised digital talent.
Through a blend of panel discussions and focused sessions, attendees will gain unique insights from top-tier industry and Defence experts, fostering a collaborative environment for exploring impactful change within UK Defence.
