Drone Major partners with Contract Finder Pro

The world’s leading independent drone company, Drone Major, has announced a groundbreaking strategic partnership with public sector platform, Contract Finder Pro, to enhance Britain’s procurement process and drive growth across Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the UK’s defence and drone sector.

Contract Finder Pro has been integrated into Drone Major’s first-of-its-kind managed procurement services platform for the global drone industry, using an advanced AI-assisted tool to streamline available government procurement opportunities enabling Drone Major’s many suppliers to efficiently bid for projects.

This partnership enhances the ability of British SMEs to participate in large-scale public sector projects, many of which were previously submerged beneath a labyrinth of government platforms, boosting innovation and success in the UK’s defence industry.

Robert Garbett Comments:

Robert Garbett, Founder and Chief Executive of Drone Major, commented on the partnership: “The UK’s defence and drone sectors are driven by innovative SMEs, but too many public sector opportunities have been obscured beneath layers of bureaucracy. By integrating Contract Finder Pro into our managed procurement platform, we’re transforming the ability of suppliers to identify, access and compete for government contracts previously impossible.”

“This partnership will help unlock greater SME participation in major public sector programmes, strengthen the UK’s defence supply chain, and accelerate innovation across the British defence and drone industry.”

The global drone and robotics market is projected to grow from £55 billion reported in 2024 to £121 billion in 2030, presenting British SMEs with a major opportunity.i UK Government recently released its Defence Investment Plan, pledging an additional £15billion on defence, including £5billion on drones.ii

The Supplier Platform

Drone Major’s unique supplier platform is centred around a business-to-business marketplace to connect buyers and suppliers globally with vetted, trusted partners in the drone and robotics ecosystem. Contract Finder Pro has been integrated into the platform to provide data for Drone Major’s buyers and suppliers, enabling the delivery of end-to-end programmes, with Drone Major coordinating the complete supply chain process, ensuring on-time and on-budget project completion.

Drone Major’s supplier platform evaluates supplier bids, selects the most capable vendors, and manages the entire supply-chain execution, in addition to handling compliance, regulatory approval (including harnessing Drone Major’s experience with BVLOS authorisation where needed), project management, logistics, quality control, and final delivery.
