When he returned to Boeing for a third engineering internship this year, Auburn University student Tyler Moore didn’t feel new to the teams he’s supporting across Boeing Engineering, Test & Technology.
Grounded in an understanding of system requirements and verifications from his first and second internships, the computer science student said he was ready to do the hands-on work.
Why it matters: When students work with a variety of teams, they learn to adapt to other programs and apply their knowledge to multiple systems and platforms. As their experiences broaden, they understand what it’s really like to be an engineer in a global company.
In his words: “What I most appreciate about this opportunity is that I can be myself and that I also can work with people eager to learn and teach as well.”
