BAE have announced an excellent set of results, reflecting their remarkable teams’ hard work to deliver mission critical capabilities for their customers.
Reflecting on the Group’s performance, BAE Systems plc’s Chief Executive, Charles Woodburn, recognises how BAE are investing in new technologies, facilities and thousands of skilled jobs so that “we can continue to protect those who protect us”.

And I’m particularly proud of our support to Ukraine, where the Ukrainian people continue to show extraordinary bravery and resilience. We delivered an excellent set of results, so I’d like to thank all of our employees, our Trade Unions, and partners for their strong contribution.
“We’ve delivered increased sales, profit and cash, and achieved a record order backlog, which gives us great confidence in our outlook. We secured significant orders for combat vehicles, including CV90, BVS10 and ACV; and the selection of the UK’s submarine design for AUKUS and our role on the Global Combat Air Programme demonstrate the scale and reach of our global business.”
