ASELSAN’s TOLUN Deep Strike Munition Family demonstrated its precision strike capability by successfully engaging different targets in live firing tests conducted from the BAYRAKTAR AKINCI.
On 1 September 2026, TOLUN Family Demonstration was held at the Konya Karapınar Firing Test Range, with the participation of military officials from more than 15 countries. During the demonstration, ASELSAN’s TOLUN I, TOLUN F and TOLUN P were successfully fired against different targets and demonstrated their distinct warhead and fuze capabilities.
The Demonstration
During the demonstration, TOLUN I, featuring an impact fuze and fragmentation warhead, achieved a direct hit on a container target, whereas TOLUN F, equipped with a proximity sensor and fragmentation warhead, engaged an armored personnel carrier and proved capability to maximize effects against targets in the vicinity of personnel. Its selectable impact angle and software designed to withstand GPS spoofing further enhance its operational flexibility.
During the demo campaign TOLUN P, featuring a programmable time-delay fuze and penetrating warhead, successfully penetrated a two-story concrete structure and neutralized elements at the designated layer. Equipped with ASELSAN’s ASAF-Hard Target Fuze, TOLUN P once again demonstrated its effectiveness against reinforced concrete targets.
Integrated with ASELSAN’s SADAK-4T Multiple Ejector Rack, the TOLUN family can be carried in multiple numbers on air platforms, enabling the engagement of single or multiple high-value targets in a single sortie. With different fuze and warhead configurations tailored to diverse target types, TOLUN I, TOLUN F and TOLUN P provide flexible precision strike capabilities against a broad range of battlefield targets.
