The annual Make UK Defence Summit 2025 opens this week on 12-13 November at the venue of Whittlebury Park, Northamptonshire.
The two-day event will bring together manufacturers, supply-chain firms and defence sector stakeholders under the auspices of the trade association.
Make UK Defence represents over 300 UK defence suppliers, spanning SMEs, mid-tier manufacturers and prime contractors. The Summit is framed as a key industry gathering: networking, keynote speeches, ‘Meet the Buyer’ sessions and panel discussions are listed among its features.
The venue move to Whittlebury Park reflects an expanded scale: as the organisers can now accommodate up to 400 delegates and additional exhibitors. Exhibitors are invited to showcase their capabilities directly to primes, the Ministry of Defence and supply-chain buyers.
For manufacturers seeking to engage in the UK defence market, the summit offers a timely platform to forge connections and understand evolving stakeholder expectations. Make UK Defence emphasises its role in helping members access the defence supply chain through events, tailored business support and advocacy across government and industry.
One key theme of the summit is the strengthening of linkages between industry tiers and faster access to capability pipelines. By convening large and small firms alongside government interlocutors, the summit underlines the association’s stated ambition to ensure that the UK defence supply chain remains innovative, resilient and competitive.
